Director of Public Relations
Candidate

Florida Statewide Organization – 7th District of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc.

An enthusiastic and experienced public relations and community affairs professional with outstanding organizational skills complemented by strong work ethics and a natural ability to identify and resolve issues while providing ideas and strategies to assist with the development of people, teams and organizations. I am an ambassador for building relationships and a mission-oriented team player.

Throughout my professional career, I have worked in both corporate and government environments. As a 22-year information systems professional, I’ve deployed strategic thinking, project management, and implementation skills to projects of varying sizes with small to large budgets. Since leaving the corporate world in 2012, I have been able to turn those skills toward community advocacy and politics which has enabled me to participate and work with several elected officials, candidates, community activists, emerging leaders, and nonprofit organizations. My work has included strategic consulting on various levels, including public relations, community affairs, branding and persona development, messaging, and more.
